I have read the article about Microsoft having a stake in the Bing empire. So will google jump on board? Most likely I don't see why they wouldn't. I think the live updates from twitter and facebook is awesome. Currently yahoo.com has this already. I think it is a great idea. Google already has millions upon millions of users. They wouldn't have to find the twitter or facebook website, they can just click and log on. This would have a huge impact on Google it will give their users more access.
I think this will benefit twitter and facebook tremendously. While someone is web surfing they can also check their status. As manager of a website it will give you more to manage, code, and maintain. But all in all I think it is a great idea, considering that Google is already huge.
Ya I agree with what you were saying about Google matching what Microsoft has done. I cannot come up with a reasonable idea as to why Google would not simply straight match what Microsoft has done. I did not know that Yahoo was also active in this already and poses an interesting question whether or not this whole revolution started because Yahoo had this feature. To me, Yahoo seems to be in a doomed position that they will always be the market bottom dweller. They almost have themselves stuck in that role and if Bing search takes off, it could only become even worse.
