Web Content Growth
I think that the amount of web content will continually grow in the future. As much as I think that the amount of web content we have today is enough, there always seems to be an increasing influx of information as time passes. There is always a demand for better, faster and more information. However, I think that people should refrain from putting too much content because there is only so much that the human eye can take. Although monitors may continue to grow in size, I think that there is only so much that we can process all at once. Also, the prominence of mobile technology proves that web content cannot really afford to grow much more. Web developers need to learn how to put as much web content as possible onto the smallest screen.

Jenny makes a good point in this response. Although the screen size may continue to grow and the way we process information may began to fasten we will still always want a simple website to look at it. The human eye as she says, can only take so much. I don't want a cluttered website now and I never will.
ReplyDeleteI think you made a good point about content. when is the amount of information enough? should there be censorship or editing of information. should there be re-organization of the information that's available.
