I don't think the size of websites will get any bigger or smaller. However, I do think different kinds of browsers will have more features that allow any size website. As of now there is not true universal web language that will be read the same on every web browser and on every computer. I think that in the near future this may become uniform, if it does theres reason to worry about the size of your website. It would be able to be read from anywhere without losing some of its style.
If the web browsers do not come up with a way to standardize websites the websites still will not need to be changed. It will be as it is now and show up different ways on different computers.
Also on mobile browsers websites come out totally different than on a computer. If anything needs to be standardized its probably mobile browsers than ones on a computer.
While that would be cool, I think it'd be too hard to condense all the different languages and codes into a simple GUI that could span all browsers.
ReplyDeleteYou're spot on about the standardization of mobile browsers, as this is an emerging technology and one that is young enough to mold as necessary, I think.
uniforming the all different languages so a website would be shown the same in any monitors or browsers seems to be an amazing idea. I think it's not impossible and it could be happening in the near future. this could solve the problem of large monitors.
ReplyDeleteabout the mobile browsers I think more and more webpages start to have another link designed especially for phones"pages with different layout so it would be easy to navigate through".
